One Step Closer… To School!

Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. I’ve heard a lot about this book, but haven’t really ever been interested in reading it. To be honest, the last time I really considered it was back when I was in high school, and I was more interested in reading Sci-Fi or Fantasy then. Today, I’m very interested in reading this book. In fact, I’m going to be picking it up here as soon as I’m done posting this blog entry. There’s also a good chance that I’ll be going to my local used bookstore and picking up a copy of Nineteen Eighty-Four and Animal Farm by George Orwell. Both those books are in the same boat for me as F-451, but I’m much older now, and have a very definite interest in reading them. I’ll also take a look at my math books and the other English book, America Now. I find it amusing that my English books are small while the math books aren’t. In fact, there are TWO books that are slightly larger than standard letter size. I do wonder if we’ll get through both books in one semester. Being that it’s a 5-unit course, I’m guessing we will.
