weird dream as I slept this morning. It was based on some zombie movie trailer I’d seen a while back. It was kind of like a 3rd-person view, I wasn’t really there, but I was. But there were also elements from the movie Jumper (no, the zombies didn’t teleport themselves). It actually wasn’t scary. A bit of an action movie kinda dream, but not really. And then my alarm went off. I managed to get up after the first ringing and got out of the shower before the second alarm went off fifteen minutes later. Yeah, it’s not too often I wake up in the morning and have not only thoughts of my dream, but of things that need to get done that day, spinning through my head. I was out of the house by about 9:25 and at the Kaiser facility by 9:45am. Got my meds, grabbed brunch, and came to work. I clocked in almost half an hour early! YAY! I might actually be home before 8:00pm this evening. My buddy Rob called me last night to see if anything is okay. He was concerned because I haven’t updated the blog in a while. I’ve been really busy at work over the last week. The last few days have been extremely busy, with trying to restore backups, discussing the state of our mailserver, and general recovery from the power outage we had last Friday. (A 1-hour power outage followed by a 4-hour network outage afterward.) I would also say that there’s also the lazy factor, but I really haven’t been so lazy. Well, not as lazy as usual, anyway. 🙂 In other news, my aunt Mary Jane, her eldest daughter Cathi, and Cathi’s fiance Charlie are arriving today from PA!! They’ll be here for two weeks! I’m soooo stoked about this, and I can’t wait to visit with them. I’m going to Modesto this weekend, and apparently they’re coming out to the bay area sometime during their stay. I can’t wait to spend time with them. 🙂 Well, I need to get back to work. Thanks for visiting and Keep Coming Back!!!]]>
