Dodge Ridge for the first time this season. The snow wasn’t all that great, but the weather was just wonderful. Well, it was for the first half of the day. About 12:30-ish the clouds started gathering. Even then, I wasn’t bundled as warmly as I usually am when I go skiing, and I never zipped up my jacket the whole time on the mountain. Yes, it was that warm. Unfortunately for me, my boots weren’t exactly right and I ended up stopping ’bout 1:00pm because my left foot was absolutely killing me. Randy did one more run and then we called it a day. Not bad for a solid 4-hours of skiing & boarding. While the sun was out, the snow loosened up considerably and it was good. Ijust hope that they get a monster storm up there soon, or they’ll be closing early this season. 🙁 The next few days are going to be rather cool. I’m playing host to my friendly neighborhood Q!. He’s up for a few days doing the IT-slave thing and hangin’ out. I’m stoked to have him, actually. I don’t get to see some of my best friends too often, and this is an EXCELLENT vistitation opportunity. 😀 So Q! – I’m not put out by you, I’m rather happy to have you here. So over the last few days, I had both my work machine and my home linux box installing the latest stable version of KDE. I must say, I’m very impressed. This stuff WORKS and very nicely, to boot. I think I’ll see how long I can stick with it on my work box before I get frustrated and go back to Openbox or PWM. Anyhow, that’s it for now. I’m gonna get busy with work. Thanks for visiting and Keep Coming Back!!!]]>
