Work Is Good!

do like my new job. After one week on the job I really feel like I’ve found a place to call home away from home for a while. I certainly hope it lasts as long if not longer than my last gig. The equipment I get to play with here (even if I am only doing QA on it) is absolutely awesome. These dual P4 Xeon machines are sweet! Gets my mind racing on what I want for my next home machine. heh. In other news, I went to see the new Harry Potter movie last night. I think they actually did a good job on it. Of course, I haven’t read the 2nd book in several months but they stayed fairly true to the book, if my memory serves me right. It’s a shame that the main character cast members are getting too old to be able to do the rest of the movies though. And it’s VERY sad that Richard Harris (Dumbledore) passed away recently. I’m sure they’ll be able to find new actors for the next several movies though. And I certainly hope Alan Rickman is called back to continue playing Professor Severus Snape. I love that guy!
