exactly what Cinco De Mayo is all about. I know it has something to do with the Mexican Revolution, but that’s the extent of my knowledge in the matter. 🙁 <sigh> The one thing I do know is that it is a day of serious celebration and partying amongst the Hispanic community. For the most part the parties are peaceful and fun. Then there’s the parties you hear about on the news, but we won’t go into that today. What we will discuss today are the AMA Chevy Trucks U.S. Superbike Challenge races going on at Sears Point Raceway this wekend. Yes, that would be U.S. Motorcycle Racing at it’s finest. The event has been going on since yesterday and continues on through tomorrow. Last year’s event was rained out, much to my dismay. Hopefully the weather holds and I’ll actually get to see this race this year. 🙂 My friend Jon Madonna and I are going tomorrow to see the final races for the weekend. He’s also going today, but he’s taking someone else with him. That’s okay though – I’m just excited to be going. I’m REALLY looking forward to seeing my friend Dale Palmer (also one of my coworkers) race in the Buell Pro Thunder class. Best of luck to ya Dale!!! Not much else going on with me – except for being up WAAAAAY too late. I’m going to bed now. Thanks for visiting and Keep Coming Back!!!]]>
