GEEK Definition Mug
In case you were wondering… The definition of geek is:
- Obsessive Computer User: somebody who enjoys or takes pride in using computers or other technology, often to what others consider an excessive degree
- Someone with greater than normal computer skills
Yeah, this describes me to a tee.
And the fact that I actually paid money for Microsoft software that I’m going to use… This is a change for me. Not that I’m a software pirate. I just haven’t had much of a use for any Microsoft Software that didn’t come pre-installed on my computer. But I’ve come to enjoy Vista so much, and since I have a 64-bit processor, I wanted the 64-bit version of the OS.
So now I have it. It runs just as well as the 32-bit version, but now shows me all my installed RAM.
I haven’t had any problems yet with drivers. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised to see that my printer manufacturer’s web site had 64-bit drivers available for download. Even Apple had a 64-bit version of iTunes available. And, of course, my computer manufacturer’s site had 64-bit versions of drivers available.
I’ll post more about my Vista/x64 experience as it happens. For now, I’m happy to have had the opportunity for this. 🙂
Thanks for visiting and
Keep Coming Back!!!
P.S. In case you were wondering, that’s 1 copy of Ultimate for my PC, 1 copy for my laptop, and the Home Premium for my parents’ computer…]]>
We’re waitin’!

Give me time… I still need to get a bigger drive for your computer first…
