Change is Good

The Verdict:

  • The upside – everything’s new and fits well.
  • The Downside – well, let’s say I only have 14 days worth of clean undergarments now.
  • This is okay for me, really. It’s a new change, but it feels good. It’s going right in line with the slow extra-tidying I’ve been doing over the last week or so. My kitchen is half cleaned now (instead of looking like a disaster area), and I can see the top of the right wing of my desk. Slowly, but surely, I’m getting my place back into presentable mode again. πŸ™‚ I’m also working on eating at home more and more. Back in 2000, when I moved to Concord, I kept my place semi-presentable, but I ate almost *every* meal at home. That changed when I moved down to San Jose. I started eating out more and more, and stopped buying groceries. This is not the healthiest way to live, nor the cheapest. It’s been really nice over the last two weekends to not have to run out just to eat. Hopefully I can get back to where I’m eating home-prepared meals 90% of the time. I do miss cooking. Oh, and for those of you who were curious, I still have friends. This makes me *very* happy. πŸ˜€ Well, that’s it from me for tonight. Thanks for visiting and Keep Coming Back!!!]]>
