I Don't Know What Gets Into Me Sometimes.

Space Shuttle Challenger disaster. Man, seeing that hurts just as much today as it did when I saw it live on TV at home that day. I was home sick from school, the day before my birthday, and the first thing I see when I flip on the tube was the launching of the shuttle. I literally broke down and cried when that happened. I don’t know why it affected me so much… maybe because I’m quite a dreamer and always envisioned myself someday being able to do something like that – fly into space in a rocket ship. Damn bastards at NASA gave me the worst birthday present EVER. *sigh* Well, now that I’m all depressed, I’m gonna head into work to make up some lost time, and work on prepping some machines for the scheduled power outage on Wednesday night.
