Uncle Jack called me at 7:45 this morning to say Grandma was gone . . . passing away peacefully in her sleep. I was walking the dogs on the golf course when he called and a small “V” of Canada geese had just gone over . . . she would have liked that. No need for anybody to go anywhere, everything has been sorted for some time now and Jack is taking care of anything that requires attention. She wanted no services . Some time toward summer Uncle Jack and I will take both her’s and grandpa’s ashes up to Pennsylvania. We’ve been expecting it for some time, and over the last day, we weren’t expecting her to live through the weekend. She was 101. RIP Grandma. I’ll miss you.]]>
