flood of activity… literally. It seems that the drain to my duplex decided to clog itself silly and the resulting backflow flooded my laundry room and kitchen. $175 and a call to Roto-Rooter later, the problem was resolved. Turns out it was a problem of tree roots and grease clogging the drain. The good news though, is that it’s been done and I hopefully won’t need to worry about it until late spring. (According to my neighbors, the previous tennants had it done about every six months.) Hopefully my landlord will let me deduct the cost from my rent this month. If not, he’ll need to reimburse me. In other news, I got my desk put together and am really enjoying it. I now have plenty of workspace at home for all my computer stuff, including scanner and printer. YAY! I need to thank my Mom and Dad for pitching in the cash that allowed me to purchase this desk. It is definitely a most excellent $FAVORITE_DECEMBER_HOLIDAY present! Thanks guys! With that, I’m out. Hope your holiday weekend went well and enjoy your week! Thanks for visiting and Keep Coming Back!!!]]>
