Wireless Network Card which I had running before on the old disk. Unfortunately they decided not to cooperate this time around. š Major bummer. Still nagging at me was that I should be able to, somehow, install WinXP on it. Finally, after searching the web, I found out how it’s done. It’s done very much the same way I’d installed Win98. So I copied the installation files over, removed the Win98 files, and got started. Then the wait began. It did finally install…. It took about 2-3 HOURS to install, but it got accomplished. And the best part was — everything worked right! AND, it wasn’t as slow as I had feared it’d be. In fact, it’s about 5 times FASTER than Win2kPro was on this machine!!! YEEHAW! Anyhow, I’m excited for the moment. I have a few things to take care of yet, but things are working and I’m back in business again with the lappie! Thanks for visiting and Keep Coming Back!!!]]>
